The Issue

Following the launch of its new Explore Uganda tourism brand, Uganda sought to build international media visibility by positioning the Pearl of Africa as one of the world’s leading destinations to experience primates in the wild.

The Approach

Witnessing primates, and particularly the mountain gorilla, in person is a 'bucket list' moment. Nothing can beat that first-hand experience. We curated immersive, on-the-ground experiences for leading journalists, allowing them to witness and capture these moments first-hand, and translate that authenticity into compelling global storytelling.

The Outcome

Many of the leading news organisations in the world promoted the Uganda experience with leading outlets, including the BBC in the UK, Le Monde in France and The Sydney Morning Herald in Australia sending crews to broadcast the content internationally.
